5.11 Tactical’s new mid-size Light for Life is now in stock at the range. This amazing hand held light recharges in 90 seconds, and provides an hour and a half of light per charge. It has no battery!
The light uses a capacitor to store the energy, so there is no battery to ever replace. The range staff is using these new lights in the store and our homes, and we love ’em. Show your member card and get a $10 discount and a free AC adapter (normally $39.95) on the purchase of these lights during the month of April.

Sunday April 25th we’ll hold the low-light shooting clinic. This clinic develops the shooter’s ability to effectively deploy the handgun in low- and no-light conditions. We’ll also teach students how to use a hand-held flashlight to disable an adversary. The class begins promptly at 8 a.m., and lasts all day. Students must provide their own handgun, flashlight, mag pouches, and 300 rounds of ammo (most ammo is available at the range). If the student has a training gun (red or blue gun) they should bring that as well.
Space is limited, tuition is $85 per person, with a discount for multiple enrollments from an agency. call the range 353-4884 to reserve a spot.

We’ll have two First Shots seminars Saturday, April 17th. At 10 a.m.
the “Ladies Only” First Shots will begin, and at 1:30 we’ll have another First Shots seminar for everyone.
First Shots is a program for people who have never fired a handgun, or who are very new to handguns who want to familiarize themselves with shooting, and feel safe and comfortable shooting a handgun. Sponsored by National Shooting Sports Foundation, the First Shots program supplies all the firearms, ammunition, eye & ear protection, and targets necessary to participate. After a classroom session, participants will shoot on the range under the careful supervision of our certified instructors & range safety officers.
If you would like to attend First Shots, call the range to sign up.
This program has always sold out! There’s a $15 fee, but that covers refreshments and all program materials, and participants will receive a certificate for a free hour of shooting & gun rental after the completing the course.
