SHOT Show & More

January 12th, 2016 | No Comments | Posted in News
Shot_ShowWe just got back from the SHOT Show (Shooting, Hunting, & Outdoor Trades Show), and our annual buying show, both in January. We saw lots of new stuff, and we ordered hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of ammo & firearms for this year. We hear from all over the trade sources that handguns will only be harder to get in California, as time continues. Delivery times for MSR’s (Modern Sporting Rifles) are increasing, and anything self-defense is harder to get. We encourage you to buy now while you still can, but please understand that longer wait times are not because of us! Suppliers are getting inundated with orders, beyond their normal January expectations.

Also – we ordered new range guns from Glock, Smith & Wesson, Springfield, Beretta, and Sig Sauer. As these come in, we will cycle last year’s range guns out of the range program to sell. We always let the members know first, so if you’re not a member, you should sign up now!

For those of you who are LEO or Security, we are hosting an instructor-trainer class by ASP for baton, restraint, and OC instructors. This 3-day class will be held at the fairgrounds in Imperial March 28-29-30th. You can’t get a better deal than this – It costs $50 to sign up, but as long as you show up for the class, you get your tuition refunded! Not only that, but at the conclusion of the class you end up with a bag of great ASP products, and instructor certification, and knowledge that will help you in the field as well as in your career.

Class space is limited, pre-registration is required.

To register, you must contact SGT Damian Valdez at the ECPD, 760-337-3175 (dvaldez@ecpd.org)
